You are a member of a very active and important entity – you are a Republican. Being a Republican means more than just how you are registered with the elections office. You are part of a national party chaired by Ken Mehlman, The Republican National Committee (RNC, www.rnc.org). The national party is made up of state representatives including our Florida chairwoman, Carole Jean Jordan. Carole is the head of the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF, www.rpof.org).
Each Florida county has a chairman and the chairman of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County (www.gop-pbc.org) is Sid Dinerstein. The county party is divided into 100 districts of The Republican Executive Committee (REC), each with approximately 2400 registered Republicans. These 100 districts each have spots for a committeeman, committeewoman and an alternate for each.
We volunteer hundreds of hours to organize this district and get out the vote for primary and general elections. We also want to share information about your community, county and state Republican politics and also be a resource for you to find local and state elected officials and agencies.
We also need your help to make the process work. We always need volunteers to stuff envelopes, walk neighborhoods and help us fulfill our objectives. Our goal is to have key volunteers in every development and sub-division in the district to expedite information and make every Republican in REC District 43 a part of the mission of the Republican Party.
